Hello, my name is Jim Robinson

I have spent the past two and a half years on the Del Mesa Community Association Board, and as President in 2024.

 

2024 saw significant challenges requiring extraordinary effort from each Board Member. It was an honor to lead this group through this difficult year. As President of Del Mesa, I was required to think both on a strategic and operational level. The job also required an ability to evaluate current conditions and to recommend improvements that would benefit Del Mesa in the long run. I believe Del Mesa is in a much better place now than at this time in 2023.

Career

My career includes executive positions with NYSE Fortune companies in healthcare, consumer goods and retail. I have worked and lived Internationally with responsibilities in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Latin America. I managed offices including London, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Frankfurt, Vienna, Riyadh, Tokyo. Hong Kong and Manila. My career positions included Vice President, Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Employees in my responsibility were from 2 to 50,000.  Annual revenues and budgets within my responsibilities included $800M and $300M respectively.

Personal

I have served on the Board of Directors for two corporations as well as Make-a-Wish Foundation. In addition, I have served on three HOA Boards and as President with all three.  Mimi and I have been married for forty years and hope to be for the next thirty or so. We love Del Mesa and want it to thrive in the years to come. I would be honored to represent you on the 2024 Board of Directors.
